DR. Martin Luther King

We celebrate Martin Luther King day, to honor him and what he did, and his fight for civil rights. Martin Luther king hated the discrimination against colored people, and wanted to put an end to it. He was prepared to go as far as he needed to, however, without using violence in his fight.
Martin Luther King fought for the equal rights of all colored people, having use no violence at all. He saw the
anger the colored people had from their discrimination. When all the colored people saw Martin Luther King fighting for their rights, they too did the same using violence against the whites. When Martin Luther King saw what they had been doing, he convinced them that they would be able to continue this fight and win it, without  using violence. The day Martin Luther King made his speech in Washington D.C, he was shot from behind by someone who was against the equal rights of colored people. After that things changed and rights's were given to the colored people, and Martin Luther King was remembered for the rights he fought for, and the hands he united together. This is why we celebrate Martin Luther King day.
